Jemma Hoyle - Account Co-ordinator - Wakefield
After moving from Lancashire to Yorkshire in 2002 I joined Corporate Express as a Helpdesk Administrator in Wakefield.
I didn't have a lot of experience in Customer Service but it wasn't long before I realised that it was something I really
enjoyed. My main role was to answer the phones and deal with the many different queries and problems and also to process
orders onto the system.
Everyday is different and one thing that I really enjoy is building up rapport with the customers. It's nice to get to
know the people that you deal with everyday and it also makes it easier if any problems arise.
After working for one and a half years as a Helpdesk Administrator I applied to be put on a training scheme which could
result in promotion. I have worked hard through the training and have now achieved my goal of account co-ordinator. This
means more responsibilities within the team that I work in and I am basically a deputy to the Team Leader.
Corporate Express is a fun place to work. The people are friendly and good to work with and there is always some social
event to attend. There are many career opportunities at Corporate Express and I would recommend it to anybody as a great
place to work.
