Production Engineer

We have an opportunity to join our alliance with Clancy, Kier and Anglian Water, for a Production Engineer to support the delivery of Anglian Water’s planned and reactive project needs. You’ll play a key role in developing practical, cost-effective solutions that reduce risk and support long-term asset performance—all while ensuring full compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Here are some of the activities you will be involved in…

• Support the Operational/Project Delivery Manager in delivering Anglian Water’s project requirements.
• Assess technical issues, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions using the Risk, Opportunity, and Value (ROV) process.
• Ensure designs meet safety standards, legal requirements, and corporate governance.
• Manage enabling works including design, programme, cost, and CDM readiness for construction.
• Adhere to site Health & Safety, Environmental, and Water Quality requirements.
• Capture asset and cost data in relevant systems.

We would love to hear from you if…

You have an engineering degree or equivalent, along with experience delivering capital projects in the water sector, ideally using in-house teams. Strong knowledge of CDM regulations is essential, as is a focus on safety, compliance, and efficiency.

Good communication skills are key, with the ability to work well with internal teams, customers, and external stakeholders. You’ll also need commercial awareness and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Project management qualifications such as APM PMQ or PRINCE2 are preferred, as are NEBOSH (General or Construction) and Temporary Works Coordinator certification.
