If so, we’re looking for a dedicated Skills Bootcamp Training Manager to oversee and manage our contract with the Department for Education (DfE) for the delivery of the Clancy Skills Bootcamp (Utilities Network Skill Passport).

The Role

In this varied role, you will put your excellent communication and organisational skills to good use, ensuring our Skills Bootcamps meet the needs of our business, the learners and the wider construction industry.

Here are just some of the activities that you’ll be involved in…

  • Ensure project plans are aligned to national skills and education policy and meet the expectations of the DfE.
  • Ensure robust systems, document control and procedures are in place, to support the funding applications process, that you’ll take ownership of.
  • Ensure processes for engagement, enrolment and progress tracking are effective.
  • Work with resourcing and operational teams to secure interviews and work opportunities for learners.
  • Develop and implement an evaluation strategy, to assess the impact of the Bootcamps and skills shortage areas.
  • Promote upskilling opportunities available to existing colleagues.
  • Produce reports detailing progress and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Create and deliver presentations to various stakeholders.
  • Develop case studies and share good practice with wider networks regionally and nationally.

We would love to hear from you, if you can demonstrate…

A good understanding of DfE Skills policy, primarily around skills bootcamps and experience of interpreting and translating into appropriate actions.

Highly developed project management skills.

Proven experience working in a fast-paced environment, planning and organising a range of complex activities simultaneously.

Advanced communication skills and comfortable dealing with a broad range of experience and seniority.
Highly developed computer literacy skills across all MS Office packages.
