We are looking for a driven and experienced Sub Agent to join our team delivering one of the UK’s most significant infrastructure programmes, HS2, at our Calvert site. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role on a nationally important project while working within a collaborative, forward-thinking delivery team. As Sub Agent, you will take ownership of key work packages, ensuring safe, efficient and high-quality delivery while supporting the wider project objectives. We would love to hear from you if… You are degree-qualified in Civil Engineering (or hold an equivalent qualification) and bring strong, demonstrable experience delivering civil engineering or infrastructure projects. You will hold a valid CSCS card, SMSTS certification and a full UK driving licence, alongside a solid understanding of CDM regulations and safe systems of work. You’ll be confident leading site teams and managing multiple subcontractors, with excellent organisational and communication skills that allow you to build positive and productive relationships with clients, stakeholders and delivery partners. Experience working within regulated or safety-critical environments such as utilities, rail, energy or nuclear will be highly advantageous. We are particularly keen to hear from individuals who are committed to their professional development and are working towards, or already hold, chartered or professional membership with organisations such as ICE, CIOB, CIHT or APM. Additional competencies such as Temporary Works Supervisor or Lifting Appointed Person would also be beneficial and will be supported as part of your ongoing development within the role. A willingness to mentor and support junior engineers and contribute to a high-performing delivery culture will be highly valued.
