Overhead Line Site Manager

Sunderland

We have a new opportunity for a qualified and experienced Site Manager to join our team in Sunderland, to manager our Overhead Line teams.

You will be leading and motivating your people to ensure all jobs and schemes are completed to the highest standards, safely and within agreed timescales & budget.

Responsibilities include:

• Assessing planned works with a view to optimising productivity
• Promoting Health and Safety and ensuring your teams comply with legislation and company procedures
• Ensuring your teams are suitably trained to be able to provide the highest quality of work and highlighting where there are opportunities to upskill
• Ensuring your teams have the relevant materials and tools to carry out their activities effectively
• Carrying out regular site audits (jointer audits, 64 point checks, van checks, plant checks, test equipment checks)
• Carrying out “pre site jobs” (Survey) via site visits or Clancy Mobile ahead of the jointer attending
• Developing good working relationships and close liaison with clients, project team members and other relevant stakeholders
• Monitoring overtime, overall project/contract performance and providing weekly cost and value reports.
• Becoming a Clancy Mobile ‘Super User’

Being an inspirational and motivating leader is a pre-requisite for this role as is being commercially astute and exceptionally organised.

If you have a good understanding and knowledge of the LV Overhead Line Networks, are able to read and understand network schematic drawings and system diagrams we would love to hear from you.  Knowledge of HV networks would be an advantage but not essential.
