Data Analyst

Up to £40,000

We do what we say!
That’s why we need people like you to help us deliver on our promises. People who enjoy getting things done.

Are you an ambitious Data Analyst looking to take the next step in your career?

We have excellent opportunity for someone ideally from a utilities or construction background to join our growing team and contribute to our Southern Water contract.

The Role:

Working alongside our Senior Business Analyst and Senior Commercial Manager, you’ll support the production and interpretation of data and information—spotting trends, uncovering discrepancies, and helping shape our commercial strategy as we move into the new AMP8 period.

Here are some of the activities you will be involved with…

  • Analysis and collation of data from various management information sources
  • Producing reports on a regular basis to inform commercial decision-making and aid continuous improvement, in line with Clancy standards
  • Using data analytics to perform detailed root cause analysis on trends and identify actions required by liaising with various functions across the business and interrogating information available on systems
  • Analysing data to show key themes, trends and highlight risks to the business
  • Sharing best practice and standards with colleagues and stakeholders to identify opportunities and drive consistency
  • Analysing performance metrics and understanding trends, providing feedback to relevant stakeholders, using a data-driven approach

We would love to hear from you if…

You are proactive, have a can-do attitude and a strong analytical mindset. You’ll be someone who enjoys problem-solving and can confidently interpret and translate data into meaningful insights.

You should have well-developed analytical skills and experience in producing accurate and relevant information to support strategic decisions. Your background should include engaging with stakeholders effectively, and you’ll ideally bring a sound understanding of information management systems and the full project lifecycle.

Advanced Excel skills are essential, and experience in building dashboards using tools such as Power BI will be highly beneficial. A degree or equivalent qualification is preferred, and commercial awareness would be advantageous
