Are you a Principal Designer with a strong background in health & safety and CDM regulations? The Role As Principal Designeryou will be providing expert advice, planning, managing, monitoring and coordinating health and safety in the pre-construction phase of several simultaneously running complex substation projects, that typically include transformer/ switchgear replacements, new GIS arrangements, cable route connections, etc. This will include: identifying, eliminating or controlling foreseeable risks; ensuring designers carry out their duties. Here are some of the activities that you will get involved with... • Ensure the company maintain compliance with their statutory duties as Principal Designer and Principal Contractor under the Construction, Design and Management Regulations 2015 (CDM 2015).
