You will be responsible for leading and developing multiple projects within our energy business unit, as part of the pre-construction phases, covering the development of the working methodology and sequencing.

The Role:

Supporting estimating teams with the development of project pricing, you will control the spend for each project under your portfolio. These range from the installation, diversion and refurbishment of power cable circuits, up to 132kV, new build primary substation construction, as well as the upgrading and refurbishment of existing substations.

Here are just some of the activities you’ll get involved with…

  • Manage all designated project work to ensure successful completion in accordance with safety, technical and legislative policies and procedures, as well as delivering in accordance with programme, cost and quality
  • Undertake site visits and attend kick off meetings for schemes to monitoring progress and provide regular updates to both Clancy and the Client
  • Liaise and coordinate with UKPN project managers and associated stakeholders to meet key programme dates
  • Execute project execution plans associated with the proposed delivery strategy
  • Demonstrate visual leadership and promote alliancing behaviour, maintaining close and proactive working relationships with the Client

We would love to hear from you if…

You can demonstrate a detailed understanding of the power industry, with significant technical and practical experience. Excellent communication skills and an ability to analyse problems and offer solutions are both prerequisites for the role. Also required is Project Management experience, HV Electrical and Civils knowledge, NEC Commercial Knowledge and able to plan and programme effectively are all highly desirable.
