Floor Manager- Madeleine Bar
Madeleine is a slice of Parisian chic in Birmingham and was recently awarded “Hotel Bar of the Year 2024” at the Midland Food Drink & Hospitality Awards.
As Lounge Manager you will bring your personality and flair to provide a warm, attentive and generous service to our guests and lead by example to our Madeleine bar team to elevate the service provided and continuously impress our guests.
The guest journey is paramount, so you'll know how to deliver fantastic experiences for our guests, maintaining exemplary attention to detail and engagement, time and time again.
What you will do
• Maintain the highest standard of guest experience during busy service periods, ensuring every detail of the guest’s journey is delivered with personality and care.
• Manage, develop and motivate the team to deliver a consistent high standard by leading from the front with confidence; remaining dynamic and positive at all times.
• Aid management in directing and coordinating the activities of the Madeleine Lounge to ensure the team is efficient and the operations run smoothly in order to produce excellent feedback and guest satisfaction.
• Work alongside kitchen and bar staff to ensure quality of food and drinks remains at its highest standard.
• Maintain brand standards whilst being responsive to guest’s individual needs and requests.
Ideal candidate
• Strong leadership skills, as demonstrated in a similar role in a restaurant setting
• Warm and genuine nature, someone who can make people feel at ease.
• To be able to confidently, clearly and politely pass information to all guests.
• Promote a positive attitude and display the ability to ‘make things happen’ to achieve or exceed anticipated results.
• Highly customer-service oriented.
• Due to the nature of the work, the ideal candidate would be fully flexible in their approach to work and be able to work shift patterns through weekdays and weekends.
