Interview Top Tips
Popping in for an interview or attending one of our hiring events? Great news, we have our fingers crossed for you - good luck!
All interviews are tailored to each job and we make them as relaxed, interactive and as fun as we can to put you at ease, but we know that some can feel a bit daunting too. So we’ve written these top tips to cover a few of the basics, meaning you can concentrate on the important stuff – like being you! getting to us on time, making sure you’ve switched your phone off, and deciding which doughnut you’re going to try.
What to wear
Our dress code is casual so it’s up to you what you’d like to wear for your interview. If you feel like dressing smart, come smart. If you feel weird wearing a suit then come less formal. Just make it a step up from your dressing gown.
What not to wear
We care about our Krispy Kremer's and customers in everything we do, so if you are coming in for an interview and are successfully hired in retail, bakery or logistics you will need to remove any facial piercings, false nails, nail polish, false eyelashes and jewellery (except wedding band).
Know where you're going
Jot down our address so you don’t get lost, and have the phone number handy in case you do.
Memorise a name
Remember who to ask for when you get to reception or on site at the store or bakery. There are lots of lovely people that work here, we just need to know which one you’re here to see.
Try not to ramble
Clear, concise answers are always best
Ask us questions
Have a few questions ready — remember it’s a two-way process.
Enjoy the free doughnuts
You’ll get a doughnut of your choice or two when you come in for an interview (they’re quite good).- What's your favourite?
