Our Nights team are integral in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the hotel and that our guests are safe and secure during the night.

 

 

Our Front Office team is at the forefront of our business as they are often the first point of contact many of our guests have with the Hotel. As Night Manager you will help ensure our guests receive consistently high standards of service and maximum guest satisfaction throughout their stay. As Night Manager you will have:

  • A minimum of 2 years front office experience in a 4 or 5 star hotel including experience in a supervisory capacity
  • Working knowledge of full night audit procedures
  • Excellent IT skills, with a working knowledge of PMS systems ideally Opera & Micros
  • Good organisational skills, be able to work with systems & procedures & ensure attention to detail at all times
  • Good leadership skills and be good team player with the ability to coach, train and motivate others.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence situations when necessary.

 

What will I be doing as a Night Manager?

  • Completing the night audit function and assisting with late check in's and early checkouts.
  • Monitoring the late/night Food and beverage services, ensuring service standards are met.
  • Overseeing the security of the building, ensuring the safety of our guests and employees who work at night, ensuring that all fire and safety procedures are followed implicitly at all times.
  • Being the point of contact for guests throughout the night and ensuring that they receive excellent customer service at all times.
  • Training, developing and coaching the night team, ensuring that the Night Porters carry out their various duties.
  • Be constantly aware of availability of the hotel and maximising revenues through effective selling of hotel bedrooms.
  • Ensuring a smooth handover with the Duty Manager and the Front Office team at the beginning and end of your shift.
  • Working five nights per week on a 7 day rota.
