Salary: 13.18 Per Hour
A fabulous new B&I location opening in Edinburgh, Scotland catering for all landside airport staff in a purpose build restaurant. Catering for up to 700 people daily. We offer Breakfast, lunch, grab & go and Vending. This is a Monday to Sunday operation. Additional benefits of this location is it has great transport links.
We are looking for a talented Barista to join our team at one of our prestigious contracts in Edinburgh.
Key responsibilities:
- To work well in a team producing the best barista coffee for staff and visitors
- Ensuring company food standards are adhered to and wastage controlled.
- Ensuring all Food Hygiene and Health & Safety policies and allergen control procedures are followed.
- Ensure that all retail items are stocked and rotated regularly
- Set up of location in the mornings for daily operation
- Manage payments and any cash handling.
- Daily stock takes of products available
You will have the following skills:
- Excellent customer service
- An all-round team player
- Barista experience essential
- Personable, good sense of humour, fun.
Knowledge / competencies:
Ability to demonstrate reasonable / good understanding and use of verbal English.
Ability to demonstrate reasonable / good standard of written English and reading skills.
Similar experience of customer and / or food preparation environment is preferred
