This is an excellent opportunity for a Commis Chef to join our small brigade of chefs helping to produce quality fresh food for our Restaurant, Bar, Room Service and Banqueting areas.
As a Commis Chef, you will be keen to develop your skills; you will prepare and produce quality food to the highest standard. As Commis Chef you will have...
- Some previous experience of food production, preparation and presentation, ideally in a hospitality kitchen
- A foundation food preparation qualification, or this may be something that we can assist you with by studying for an Apprenticeship.
- A genuine interest in food and a enthusiasm for creating good food
- A willingness to work hard in a busy environment
- The ability to display food safety knowledge in every aspect of your working day.
- Good communication skills and enjoy working as part of a team.
- Flexibility in your working hours as you will be required to work Early and Late Shifts on a 5 day rota including weekends and bank holidays.
What will I be doing as Commis Chef?
- Working in a professional kitchen supporting experienced chefs.
- Developing existing cooking skills and preparing and presenting high quality dishes within Company guidelines.
- Maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness meeting all health, safety and hygiene regulations.
- Working as part of a team to exceed our guest's expectations at all times.
