We are seeking a Kitchen Porter/Kitchen Assistant to assist in keeping our kitchen area clean and organised and compliant with Health & Safety regulations as well as supporting the chefs in basic food prep. Must be able to Commute to SL9 7PA
Our Kitchen is at the heart of our Food & Beverage department providing the food for our guests 24 hours a day. As a Kitchen Porter/assistant, you will cleaning our busy kitchen structure & equipment and helping the chefs deliver the best possible standards to our guests.

As a Kitchen Porter you will have...
- Prior experience of commercial cleaning, ideally in a busy kitchen.
- Physical fitness (as the work is hands on and will require some lifting, loading and operating of machines).
- A strong work ethic and flexibility in the shifts you can work
- Basic knowledge of health & safety practices & be able to follow safe working procedures
- Attention to detail, even when working under pressure
- Ability to follow instruction and be able to show initiative
- Good communications skills
What will I be doing as a Kitchen Porter?
- Cleaning kitchen equipment, surfaces & floors
- Operating the dishwasher
- Moving equipment around the kitchen for chefs
- Taking in kitchen deliveries
- Collecting and taking out rubbish and waste
- Maintaining good hygiene and health & safety practices
- Actively developing your kitchen skills and knowledge in order to progress including completing e-learning modules.
