What led you into a career working in hospitality and members clubs?

My passion for creating memorable experiences and a love for food and beverage inspired me to pursue a career in hospitality. Working in members clubs allows me to combine these passions while fostering a sense of community.

Please introduce us to The Roof Gardens.

The Roof Gardens is a lifestyle members club that offers a unique blend of sophistication and relaxation. Spanning a vast space with restaurants and bars, it provides a diverse range of food, drink and social experiences set against the backdrop of stunning rooftop views.

Why is The Roof Gardens ‘a new generation’ social club?

The Roof Gardens is considered a new generation social club because it combines the personalised service of a traditional members club with a modern approach, innovative dining concepts, and a vibrant social atmosphere. It’s designed to meet the evolving needs and preferences of today’s discerning members.

From the tasting sessions, what is your favourite dish from the kitchen so far and why?

My favourite dish from our tasting sessions has to be the lobster linguini or the red prawn carpaccio with caviar. These dishes are the perfect blend of delicate flavours using quality ingredients, showcasing the creativity and skill of our culinary team.

Tell us something that not many people know about you.

Despite my career in the bustling hospitality industry, I find great joy in quiet, solitary activities like hiking and reading. It helps me recharge and brings a balance to my life.

What are you most excited about for the future of The Roof Gardens?

I’m most excited about the upcoming events and collaborations we have planned. These initiatives will not only elevate our members’ experience but also position The Roof Gardens as a leader in the hospitality industry.

Can you share a memorable moment from your journey at The Roof Gardens so far?

One of the most memorable moments was our grand opening night. Seeing the culmination of months of hard work come to life and witnessing the joy and excitement of our members as they explored the space for the first time was truly rewarding.

Tell us something about your role or department that we might not know but would find interesting?

As the Food and Beverage Director, my role extends beyond overseeing operations. I’m deeply involved with the wider team and collaborating with chefs. This hands-on approach ensures that we deliver an unparalleled dining experience.
