Job Description

Are you a strategic leader with a passion for procurement across diverse industries? Splendid Hospitality Group is seeking a visionary Head of Procurement to drive our procurement strategy across a unique portfolio that includes hotels, care homes, and quick-service restaurants (QSRs). This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape supply chain excellence, deliver significant savings, and champion sustainability initiatives.
As the Head of Procurement, you will lead all procurement activities, managing the end-to-end supply chain, developing innovative sourcing strategies, and building strong supplier partnerships to support our diverse operations. You will play a pivotal role in driving performance, service improvements, and cost efficiencies while ensuring alignment with our commitment to sustainability.

Role in our Family

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the procurement function across the Group, ensuring a cohesive strategy that addresses the distinct needs of hotels, care homes, and QSRs.
• Manage the full procurement process, from sourcing to contract management, ensuring value beyond price and delivering optimal service levels across all categories.
• Oversee indirect category management, ensuring timely and compliant contracts that meet the needs of all business units.
• Collaborate with senior leadership, operational teams, and suppliers to drive supply chain efficiencies, cost savings, and innovation across a diverse operational estate.
• Develop and implement key performance metrics, reporting regularly to stakeholders on procurement performance, cost-saving initiatives, and service levels.
• Integrate sustainability and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) objectives into procurement activities, developing action plans to reduce the Group’s carbon footprint.
• Inspire and lead the Procurement team, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring individual and team development.
• Build and manage a robust Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) framework, fostering strong partnerships with key suppliers and ensuring compliance with procurement policies and objectives.
• Lead sourcing and tendering strategies to meet the varied needs of hotels, care homes, and QSRs, while ensuring alignment with overall business goals.

What We’re Looking For:
• Proven experience in procurement leadership, particularly across multiple sectors such as hospitality, healthcare, and foodservice.
• Strong ability to influence senior stakeholders, both internally and externally, while building strategic supplier relationships.
• A passion for sustainability and experience integrating ESG initiatives into procurement strategies.
• Exceptional leadership and team development skills, with a focus on fostering a collaborative, high-performing team.
• A strategic thinker with a track record of delivering results in complex, fast-paced environments.
