Radisson Blu Hotel, London Mercer Street in London is a luxury boutique hotel set in the picturesque Seven Dials neighbourhood of Covent Garden. Discover one of the capital’s most beloved areas, famous for its many theatres, boutiques, markets, culture and nightlife.
We are looking for a results-driven, strategic, and client-focused Events & Groups Manager to lead and drive event sales. In this role, you will generate new business, manage key client relationships, and maximize revenue opportunities for conferences, meetings, and special events.

The Events & Groups Manager is responsible for ensuring the seamless planning and delivery of group bookings, meetings, and events – from handover by the sales team to post-event feedback and reconciliation. You will be the primary contact for clients during the pre-event and operational phases, ensuring that all details are captured, communicated, and executed to brand standards.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with Sales, Operations, Kitchen, and Revenue teams to ensure that all client needs are met while protecting commercial targets and operational feasibility. You will take a proactive and guest-focused approach to every event, using your knowledge and creativity to personalise experiences and solve challenges.
This role requires a high level of attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously in a dynamic environment.
To successfully perform in this role, you must have the following skills and qualifications (if applicable):
• 2–4 years’ experience in hotel event or group sales and planning, preferably within a 4- or 5-star UK hospitality setting
• Strong client service orientation with excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple bookings simultaneously while maintaining high attention to detail
• Commercial awareness and confidence in upselling event enhancements and managing budgets
• Working knowledge of Opera PMS, Delphi.fdc, Microsoft Outlook/Excel, and standard hotel systems
• Professional presentation, a guest-first mindset, and proactive problem-solving ability
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays in line with business needs
• Understanding of UK legal and compliance frameworks for events, including food safety and licensing
