The Restaurant

Kitchen Table is a dining experience, where full interaction with the chefs showcases previously unseen kitchen theatre. Guests, seated at a horseshoe-shaped counter, see James Knappett and his team prepare, serve, and talk diners through that evening’s tasting menu. A wine list curated by award-winning sommelier (and James’ wife) Sandia Chang completes the experience.

James has worked at some of the world’s most highly regarded restaurants.Kitchen Table opened in 2012, was awarded one Michelin Star in 2014, and achieved a coveted second star in 2018 �" which it has held ever since. Kitchen Table was also awarded Michelin’s ‘Welcome and Service Award’ in 2018.

The Position

At Kitchen Table we are looking for our new FOH Expeditor. This role is particular to our restaurant and we believe is the perfect role for any waiters wanting to step up in the career, or even chef's wanting to move to a more Front of House role. The right canidate will be the link between the kitchen and the front of house. The pass will be your total responsibility and you will be in charge of all dietary requirements, timing's of dishes being served as well as the organisation of waiters. 

If you have the following, we want to hear from you:

• A warm and approachable personality with lots of charisma;
• Prior experience as a Waiter/Waitress in an intimate, quality restaurant environment;
• Passion for delivering the highest levels of customer service and the enthusiasm to encourage the same in others;
• Sights on a long-term career in hospitality;
• Thirst to continually learn and develop themselves in the field of food and beverage. 
• Extremely organised and an energetic approach to the job.

The successful Expeditor will receive:

• up to £32,000
• Saturday & Sunday's off; four services a week
