About The Role:

We're looking for a passionate Commis Chef to join the kitchen team of one of London’s newest, stunning and most exciting venues — Arcade Covent Garden! You will support the kitchen team with food preparation and service, maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and culinary excellence while building the foundational skills of a great chef.

As a Commis Chef at Arcade Covent Garden, you will have the opportunity to be cross-trained across our different kitchens and brands, from ramen at Supa Ya and Middle Eastern dishes at Shatta & Toum to Manna’s iconic burgers (and more!), developing into a highly versatile Commis Chef. The successful candidate will:

• Assist in preparing and delivering high-quality dishes, supporting their section and ensuring consistency and efficiency during service
• Follow all health and food safety protocols to maintain a clean and compliant kitchen
• Collaborate with the team and communicate effectively to ensure smooth service and a positive kitchen environment
• Operate with a focus on reducing waste and improving kitchen efficiency

We'd love to hear from you if you:

• Bring previous experience in a kitchen setting (preferred but not required)
• Are a team player with a positive attitude and a passion for cooking
• Bring an eagerness to roll your sleeves up and get stuck in
• Can thrive in a fast-paced environment
• You have the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Bring strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality and safety
