Wentworth Club is one of the world’s finest private members Golf and Country Clubs, famous for its outstanding three Championship golf courses, in addition to a luxury Tennis & Health Club. The Club is surrounded and entwined within the Wentworth Estate, one of the most prestigious private estates in the London suburbs where many of the world’s premier golfers have their home.
As a front of house receptionist you are responsible for providing and maintaining an exceptional first and lasting impression, ensuring that members and guests needs are met and anticipated throughout their visit. You are required to undertake your duties in an efficient, professional, and friendly manner whilst ensuring that standards at the reception are upheld to the highest quality at all times.
You will work collaboratively and support the team and ensure good communication between all departments of the Tennis and Health Club.
Key Areas of Activity
- Ensuring high standard of customer service is upheld at all times. All guest needs are met; problems are resolved and followed up to ensure a positive outcome.
- Answer telephone enquiries and take bookings for tennis courts, reservations and classes. Have knowledge of the facilities and services offered within the Club, and to up-sell these to the members at every opportunity.
- Take care of the 'fine detail' and make sure that all facilities in the reception areas are presented to the highest standards. Ensure all checklists are completed in a timely manner.
- Have full knowledge of all spa treatments and products, in order to provide an excellent service and be able to upsell when appropriate.
- Operate all computer systems and ensure that all faults are reported in the agreed company manner.
- Communicate with the Duty manager daily regarding any complaints or challenges arising.
- Liaise with housekeeping / facilities departments on daily regarding any relevant issues i.e. cleanliness, towel provision, maintenance issues etc. Report to any other relevant departments if appropriate.
- Ensure reception desk if always manned and maintain security of keys held at spa reception.
- Manage credit and cash transactions and record those appropriately, using own JONAS login and reporting to accounts department.
- Ensure correct hand over to next receptionist / next day receptionist, including any relevant information and monetary hand over.
