ABOUT THE ROLE
In the role of a Head Waiter, your key focus will be to:
- provide prompt, friendly and efficient service by serving food and drinks to guests
- be critical on presentation and quality of all items served to guests
- be present in the Langham Club lounge at all times, ensuring guest interaction and assistance
- advise the Langham Club Receptionists to update any guest history and preferences that may enhance the guest’s current or future stays
- deal with guests’ complaints calmly and tactfully and follow up accordingly
- keep all Langham Club areas including storage areas clean and tidy at all times
- ensure that the correct stock levels are maintained at all times for food, beverage, crockery and linen
- update and assist in development of training manuals / SOPs for the Langham Club Lounge, deliver on-job training and ensure the consistency of the standards are maintained on each shift
ABOUT YOU
- previous experience in a similar environment
- previous experience of supervising and leading teams/people
- strong interest and passion for food & beverage
- excellent customer service skills; ability to anticipate guest needs and go the extra mile
- immaculate personal presentation
