Wentworth Club is one of the world’s finest private members Golf and Country Clubs, famous for its outstanding three Championship golf courses, in addition to a luxury Tennis & Health Club. The Club is surrounded and entwined within the Wentworth Estate, one of the most prestigious private estates in the London suburbs where many of the world’s premier golfers have their home.

To Develop and deliver a First Class, bespoke and comprehensive programme of golf competitions and events that greatly enhances our members golf experience at the Club.

Creating an active and exciting golfing events calendar that engages our members, welcomes new members into ‘Club Life’ and creates a social community that enhances and adds value to our membership.

Key Areas of Activity
Competitions & Events Calendar

  • Create a well-researched and tailored calendar of events, competitions & tournaments throughout the year.
  • Proactively and professionally market and communicate these events to the membership.
  • Research and tailor each event to ensure that it is effectively organised and is of the highest standard.
  • Effectively manage the diary to carefully plan each event, creating a Banqueting Event order for each event.
  • Maximise participation in each event to ensure its success.
  • Attend events to ensure that they are well executed and be the key point of contact.
  • Enhance social integration for new and existing members by networking and making social introductions.
  • Enhance the events with entertainment, food & beverage, prizes, etc.
  • Raise the profile of events (past and future) through a professional monthly newsletter.

Juniors

  • Create a fun and interactive programme of events for our junior members catering for different abilities working close with Head of Golf Acaedmy
  • Liaise with the Golf Professional teams with regards to practice clinics, summer camps and coaching opportunities.

Matches and Overseas Golf Trips

  • Organise a series of matches with like-for-like 5 star golf clubs within the United Kingdom, managing logistics and accommodation if required.
  • Research and organise trips and tours of the best golf courses and destination’s in the world (including Pine Valley & Reignwood Princeville, Hawaii)
  • Arranging all travel, accommodation, food & beverage, hospitality and golf as required.

Member Relations and New Member Integration

  • Create a welcome programme for new members to integrate into the Club and Golf Events programme. Understand their needs and expectations and help ensure that these are catered for.
  • Pro-actively introduce new members to the Golf Professional team and other Golfing members.
  • Identify golfing partners for new members to play and interact with.
  • Introduce new members to the Club Captain and other key members.
  • Be the ‘go-to’ person for all golf related queries.
  • Be the ‘go-to’ expert with regards to rules of golf, competition rules, handicap enquiries and support.
