The Elvetham Hotel is an elegant country house hotel in Hampshire, rich in history and set in 35 acres of beautiful gardens. The hotel is one of the most historic sites in Hampshire entwined in the British Royal Family. The site can be traced back to as early as the 800's AD. Today the Estate consists of 91 bedrooms shared between the Main House and The Stables, as well as four unique and flexible function rooms.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Wedding Sales Executive to join our dynamic Sales & Events team.

Are you passionate about weddings and creating unforgettable experiences? We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Wedding Sales Executive to join our events team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for prospective couples, guiding them through the planning journey and converting enquiries into confirmed bookings. Your focus will be on selling our venue and services, building strong client relationships, and helping deliver magical wedding days.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to wedding enquiries via phone, email, and in person in a timely and professional manner
- Conduct venue tours and consultations, showcasing the venue's features and benefits
- Prepare and deliver tailored wedding proposals and quotations
- Follow up on leads to maximise conversion rates
- Maintain and update systems and booking calendars
- Liaise with internal departments to ensure seamless event execution
- Attend wedding fairs, open days, and promotional events to generate new business
- Meet and exceed monthly sales targets and KPIs
- Keep up-to-date with market trends and competitor activity
- Ensure a high level of customer service is maintained throughout the sales process

- Proven experience in a sales role, preferably in the wedding, events, or hospitality industry
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities
- Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple bookings at different stages
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and a team player
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends when required for events or appointments
- A genuine passion for weddings and creating memorable experiences
