We are currently recruiting for a Bar Manager to join our Truly Talented team.

Your role

As a Bar Manager, you will be responsible for creating an exceptional experience for our guests as well as overseeing the smooth operational running of the bar. You will be preparing and serving a wide range of beverages, opening and closing the bar and creating classic and innovative drinks exceeding guest needs and expectations every time.

Our ideal candidate

The ideal person for this role will be a true epicurean – a food and drink enthusiast, who maintains a solid and up-to-date understanding of the restaurant and bar scene.

You will be expected to maintain the highest standards of hospitality and service in the restaurant and the bar.

Have in-depth knowledge of wines, cocktails and speciality drinks and take pride in learning our food menu as well. And enjoy engaging with guests, getting to know our regulars and learning to anticipate their needs.

The core skills and experience required to succeed:

  • Truly passionate about the Hospitality Industry;
  • Managing the day-to-day operations and activities within the Bar, ensuring the team deliver an exceptional experience for our guests;
  • Team player who communicates well with all colleagues;
  • Previous experience as a bartender in a busy environment ;
  • Excellent personal presentation;
  • Good understanding of food hygiene and health & safety procedures;
  • Ability to function independently with a minimum of supervision;
  • Excellent communication skills, the ability to communicate verbally and in writing ;
  • To be an enthusiastic team player with a flexible approach.

You must have the right to work in the UK to be eligible for this role. Documented evidence of eligibility will be required from all candidates prior to commencing employment.
