We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Finance team as an Accounts Team Member. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the timely billing of accounts and supporting the Financial Controller to deliver a streamlined service within the Finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Balancing daily transfer to city ledger and post, edit, and update to accounts receivable system.
• Ensuring all invoices have the appropriate documentation attached and approvals prior to processing.
• Maintaining a filing system for account receivable records.
• Assist in managing revenues received and dispersed including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, audit, and General Ledger reporting.
• Cash handling functions for the hotel and reconciling all cash dropped.
• Reconcilliation of cash and credit card transactions and ivestigating any discrepancies.
• Any other job-related duties as and when assigned by the Financial controller.

The Ideal Candidate

• Proven experience in an accounting or finance role.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
