Wentworth Club is one of the world’s finest private members Golf and Country Clubs, famous for its outstanding three Championship golf courses, in addition to a luxury Tennis & Health Club. The Club is surrounded and entwined within the Wentworth Estate, one of the most prestigious private estates in the London suburbs where many of the world’s premier golfers have their home.

We are looking for a Receptionist to provide a friendly, efficient, helpful, and consistent service to our Members & Guests, whilst ensuring that all accounting and security procedures meet company requirements, with an emphasis on the Member Journey at all times.

Full-time 40 hours per week, including weekends and evenings

Key Areas of Activity:

  • Create a professional and friendly first impression and ensure all Members are greeted in a professional, friendly and courteous manner.
  • Assist all Members with any queries or issues they may have. Ensure that all Members issues are resolved and followed up to ensure a positive outcome.
  • Ensure a consistent high level of service is provided at all times in accordance with the Club Standard Operating Procedures and Training Manual
  • Be knowledgeable about daily club operations, check daily events and be up to date with all changes, new procedures, and events.
  • Have knowledge of guest rooms, golf courses, locations, amenities, features and all other services offered by the club.
  • Be knowledgeable with all Club rules and working with the in-house Security Team to ensure they are enforced at all times.
  • Follow cash handling, credit, and banking procedures to check in/out all guests efficiently.
  • Operate Jonas, Groupwise system.
  • Ensure all shift checklists are completed correctly and in a timely manner, ensuring a proper handover is given to the next shift.
  • Answer all telephone calls within three rings and in a friendly courteous manner.
  • Liaise with Concierge regarding directing guests to their room, luggage handling and car parking procedures.
  • Work with all other departments in a suitable helpful and courteous manner.
