We are defined by our richness of personality, diversity of background and lifestyle and are now looking for an In Room Dining Supervisor who will embody our ‘Anything but Standard’ ethos.
Your role
As our In Room Dining Supervisor, you will support leading an exceptional team to oversee an extensive food & drink service within our 266 guest bedrooms and suites; from our In Room breakfast offering through to a lunch and dinner menu inspired by our restaurants, roof terraces, and bars across the hotel.
Our In Room Dining team also work closely with our Event Operations team on functions held within our Suites, such as small meetings, press junkets and private parties, as well as managing daily servicing, replenishing and charging of our Minibars, and placing guest amenities for our VIPs.
As our In Room Dining Supervisor, you will be passionate about service, very well organised with an exceptional working knowledge of In Room Dining operations and order of service. We have very busy days, so prior experience working with high-volume is important, as well a hands-on approach to service and logistics.
You are a natural leader with excellent communication and interpersonal skills that enable you motivate team members and help the team develop to deliver a consistently high performance. Your exceptional beverage & bar operations knowledge will help create the ultimate In Room Dining experience in London.

As a In Room Dining Supervisor at The Standard, you will also need…
- A minimum of 2 years experience as an In Room Dining Supervisor or Manager, ideally gained in a similar ‘Lifestyle’ or boutique hotel
- Confident organising, inspiring, and motivating a team, as well as strong experience in F&B, Room Service and Mini-Bar operations, and managing small events
- Highly social, motivated, and pro-active; acting with professionalism and positivity in all interactions, with a hands-on approach to service
- Ability to develop and deliver effective training to maintain consistent service standards throughout the team
- Prior experience using Squirrel epos, SevenRooms, and Fourth HR is advantageous (however full training will be given)
- Available full-time with a full flexibility Monday – Sunday
