ABOUT THE ROLE

The Senior Sales Manager for the Middle Eastern Region is reposnsible for for managing Sales activities and client liaison for Middle Eastern Guests and the Middle Eastern Region. The Senior Sales Manager works closely with the Corinthia Hotels GSO for the GCC and provides on property liaison for all Middle East VIPs such as meet and greet, regular contact and spending time with the guest to relationship build while the client is in house (eg inviting for a coffee). The Senior Sales Manager is also the liaison point between sales and operations and to ensure all cultural and VIP requirements are met, working very closely with the hotel’s Guest Relations and Butler team.


This role is also responsible for reactive sales and has a particular focus on supporting London based third parties, such as Travel Trade focused on Middle East and local Middle East corporate and providing support to the GSO for Embassy and Diplomatic sales.


The Senior Sales Manager must work in alignment with the strategic goals of the sales department and strategy for the Middle East Market, working closely with the DOS, DOSM, Revenue Manager and the Director of Sales & Marketing. Working with GSO.

Depending on business needs and flow of business, the Senior Sales Manager may also be required to support additional international markets such as India and Africa.

ABOUT YOU

  • Ideally 4 years working in the Luxury Hotel Segment preferably in the UK with a strong commercial and cultural understanding of Middle Eastern business for the Luxury London hotel market.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A strong desire to learn and develop a career within luxury hospitality
  • Excellent level of written and spoken English
  • Empathy and care for your guests and colleagues
  • Ability to work under pressure and respond in an appropriate time to client requests.
  • Resilience to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Pride and attention to detail in your work
  • Takes pride in own professional grooming
  • Professional and engaging personality
  • Confidence & professionalism when interacting with high profile guests
  • Ability to travel extensively in the Middle Eastern Region and/or. Globally as required for Trade shows
  • Ability to speak Arabic would be beneficial, but not essential
