Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Beauty Therapist to lead our spa team and deliver exceptional guest experiences within our luxury hotel spa.
This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for a highly skilled therapist who thrives in a premium environment and is confident managing people, standards, and service excellence.

The Role

As Head Beauty Therapist, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the spa’s treatment offering while leading, motivating, and developing the therapist team. You will ensure treatments are delivered to the highest standards, guest satisfaction is maximised, and the spa reflects the quality and values of the hotel. This is a hands on role which will see you completing treatments.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver a wide range of beauty and spa treatments to an exceptional standard
• Lead, supervise, and support the spa therapy team
• Train, mentor, and develop therapists, including inductions and ongoing skills training
• Maintain treatment standards, protocols, and hygiene compliance
• Assist with rota planning, stock control, and product management
• Drive retail sales and treatment revenue through excellent guest engagement
• Handle guest feedback professionally and resolve any issues effectively
• Work closely with hotel management to support spa performance and targets

About You

• Fully qualified Beauty Therapist (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
• Proven experience in a senior or supervisory spa role
• Strong knowledge of luxury treatments, products, and spa standards
• Confident leader with excellent communication and people skills
• Passionate about guest service and attention to detail
• Commercially aware with a proactive approach to sales and performance
• Flexible to work weekends and holidays as required in a hotel environment
