ABOUT THE ROLE

The In Room Dining Waiter is responsible for providing a warm welcome with friendly, professional service. In Room Dining waiters must multitask effectively to juggle all their responsibilities. They are responsible for providing guests with food and beverage services.


You will be responsible for ensuring any order in the room is delivered as per standard, exceeding guests’ expectations, replenishing the minibars as needed, taking orders from guests and delivering their requests to the kitchen staff. You will be typically working under the supervision of a supervisor, coordinator, assistant manager, and manager.

ABOUT YOU

  • Luxury hospitality experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A strong desire to learn and develop a career within luxury hospitality
  • Good level of written and spoken English
  • Empathy and care for your guests and colleagues
  • Flexibility to work varied hours
  • Ability and resilience to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
  • Pride and attention to detail in your work
  • Professional and engaging personality
  • Confidence & professionalism when interacting with high profile guests
  • Minimum of 1 year hospitality service experience in 5* hotels preferred.
  • Food & Beverage experience required.
  • Basic knowledge of computers would be beneficial.
  • Readiness in action which proceeds from experience, practice and precision.
  • Quickness and skill in managing or conducting a scheme of operations.
  • Skill and ease in carrying out manual tasks such as setting up tables and In Room events.
