This is an exciting role for a hands on Group Bar Manager or Beverage Manager with experience managing multiple bars. The RestaurantsChef Luke Farrell, bringing authentic Thai experiences to the heart of London. Our venues celebrate the diverse and exciting flavors of Thailand through carefully crafted concepts that transport guests to the bustling streets of Bangkok. Speedboat Bar draws inspiration from Bangkok's Chinatown and the thrilling sport of speedboat racing along Thailand's canals. This exciting venue showcases masterful wok-fired cooking, Thai-style salads, and spicy sauces that highlight specialist Thai herbs and ingredients cultivated at Chef Luke's own Ryewater nursery in Dorset. Our distinctive bar program features Singha beer towers, signature cocktails like the Snakeblood Negroni and Jelly Bia made with frozen Singha Lager, alongside refreshing non-alcoholic options. Plaza Khao Gaeng, our Southern Thai restaurant located in Arcade Food Hall, celebrates the rich "coast to jungle" cuisine of the region. "Khao gaeng" (curry over rice) is at the heart of our offering – a kaleidoscope of curries thick with fresh coconut milk, aromatic curry pastes, and fermented fish, complemented by searingly hot stir-fries and cooling herbs. The restaurant's ambiance is inspired by a beloved Bangkok establishment housed in an old movie theater, providing guests with a cool, quiet respite from the bustling world outside. We believe in authenticity and excellence, creating immersive dining experiences that honor Thai culinary traditions while delivering exceptional hospitality. We are looking for passionate people who share our dedication and enthusiasm for bringing the vibrant food culture of Thailand to our guests. The position As Beverage Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily beverage operations across Plaza Khao Gaeng & Speedboat Bar and some exciting new projects and openings within the Chaiyo group . The role requires a blend of leadership skills, attention to detail and quality, excellent guest service, a smart approach to business finances, and a humble and hands-on approach in order to drive the business forward.
