Berenjak Mayfair - New Opening

Berenjak Mayfair will be the brand’s flagship new opening located at 80 Duke Street, a moment’s walk from Grosvenor Square in the heart of Mayfair. The design direction is inspired by Grandad’s villa in the North of Iran; a space that feels homely and relaxed but also elegant and mature whilst the service style focuses on genuine, warm hospitality and memorable guest experiences.
Guests can expect a mix of classic Berenjak classic Mazeh, Kababs and Khoresht with the addition of new elevated diverse regional Persian dishes. The beverage offering will draw a new focus to premium drinks options exclusively curated for the Duke Street location including new signature cocktails and an expanded wine selection.

The Position

As the Bar Manager you will combine your beverage expertise with strong leadership abilities to ensure exceptional guest experience. In this role, you will jointly oversee the restaurant’s drinks programme and help to deliver a smooth and efficient service. Share your passion for hospitality through engaging briefings & beverage training on and off the floor.

The Successful Bar Manager will have:

• Prior experience as a Bar Manager within a premium restaurant or bar;
• Warm and welcoming persona, along with a hands-on approach to work and impeccable attention to detail;
• Proven ability to lead, train and inspire a team;
• Passion for hospitality and a excellent knowledge of food and beverage; WSET preferred
• Eagerness to learn and develop your career within an award-winning restaurant group.
• Experience working in a Mayfair restaurant is preferred.

As Bar Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Work closely with our Head of Bars to create and develop the brand’s beverage offering.
• Inspiring, motivating and training our staff on all aspects of the bar at Berenjak.
• Leading on the financial performance of the bar, including GP targets, labour control and sales forecasting.
• Focusing on staff development and team training, helping to drive beverage sales and improve product knowledge.
• Building & leading a highly skilled bar team to deliver outstanding guest experience.
• Taking charge of stock management and cost control.
