Business Development Manager (Maternity Cover/30 Hours)

Castlebridge Hospitality is a privately-owned hotel group with over 30 years’ experience in developing, owning and operating both internationally and privately branded hotels in the UK and Europe, the company manages all hotel stages: from design and construction to opening and operation.

Currently managing 851 bedrooms, Castlebridge Hospitality offers a full operational solution. We implement effective systems and controls, ensure a smooth opening and then manage growth to maximise owners’ long term returns.

We have four IHG Hotel Indigo Hotels in our current portfolio: Hotel Indigo Bath, Hotel Indigo Chester, Hotel Indigo Stratford upon Avon and our most recent addition Hotel Indigo Coventry. We also have the Hilton Garden Inn at Birmingham Airport and the Holiday Inn Winchester in our portfolio.

The Role:

We’re looking for a Business Development Manager to join our ambitious team to cover maternity leave within the department. You'll support the Sales Director in sourcing new leads and business opportunities. You’ll split your time between 70% new business and 30% account management and be responsible for driving new corporate, group, MICE and F&B sales into an agreed hotel portfolio as well as supporting all hotels within the Castlebridge Hospitality group. 

We’re looking for a Business Development Manager who can respond quickly and positively to changing requirements and business needs. You'll be highly driven, tenacious and motivated by success. A good, professional telephone manner is essential. Working directly with the our Sales Director, Business Development Managers, General Mangers and other key stakeholders in the business, you'll be fundamental in ensuring all key business opportunities are identified and exploited. You'll have experience in proactive sales, ideally within the hospitality sector, however this is not essential. One thing that is a must though is having great customer service skills, with a natural passion and enthusiasm for sales and relationship building.
