Environmentalist

We are delighted to be recruiting for four exciting roles to join our team of Environmentalists.

We have two Environmental and Sustainability Advisor roles based in Bracknell and Chatham and two Lead Environmental and Sustainability advisor roles based in Livingston and London.

As an Advisor here are some of the activities you will be involved in…

• Carrying out inspections and audits of Clancy site facilities, projects and supply chain sites, ensuring legal compliance
• Monitoring, analysing and reporting environmental performance
• Producing plans for environmental management (EMS), waste, material management and emergency response
• Delivering environmental training at all levels of the business, that promotes a positive culture and provides employees with the skills to safely achieve their own environmental & sustainability objectives
• Monitoring and reviewing environmental events, ensuring incidents and near misses are correctly reported, categorised, and investigated
• Delivering learning outcomes and contract improvements

As a Lead Advisor you will have some additional activities:

Supporting the Group Head of Environment in actioning performance against objectives and deputising for the Head of Environment as required
Day to day team management including proactive support of professional development

We would love to hear from you if you can demonstrate the following:

In-depth and substantial technical understanding of environmental legislation and experience working with ecology, archaeology, arboriculture and water environment specialisms is essential.

Proven experience writing, coordinating and managing consents, assent and permit applications.

Being comfortable with compiling data and supporting assessments related to ESOS, SECR and ISO14064.

A relevant professional qualification e.g., IEMA, CIWEM, IES, CIWM and a degree in an environmental discipline are important, as is experience implementing ISO14001.

A full and valid driving license is essential
