Haddington Care Home is a well established care home in Haddington, providing Residential, Nursing, Dementia, Respite and Palliative care for up to 68 residents. With a strong team culture and focus on high standards, the home offers a supportive environment where staff can develop their skills and make a meaningful difference every day.
Care Assistant – Dayshift, Nightshift and Bank
- £13.55 per hour
- Full time, part time and bank contracts available
- Dayshift and Nightshift available
- £500 welcome bonus paid in two instalments: £250 after 3 months and £250 after 6 months
- Pension, Paid PVG, Uniform provided, Onsite parking
- 5.6 weeks annual leave based on a full time contract
Role Overview
As a Care Assistant, you will support residents with daily routines including personal care, mobility, nutrition and social engagement, while promoting independence, dignity and wellbeing.
You will follow individual care plans, respond to residents’ needs with compassion and respect, and work closely with colleagues to maintain a safe, welcoming and supportive environment. You will build positive relationships with residents and their families, helping to create a warm and homely atmosphere where residents feel valued and cared for.
This role is suitable for both experienced Care Assistants and those new to care, with full training, structured induction and ongoing development opportunities provided.
