Add a Little Sparkle to Someone’s Day!
Cherrybrook Care Home isn’t your typical care home. Split across two purpose-built units, our beautiful home supports older people living with dementia and complex mental health needs. But beyond the clinical care, we believe deeply in creating meaningful, joy-filled days that give every resident something to smile about.
What we offer:
• £12.21 per hour
• 27 hours per week (including alternate weekends)
• Pension scheme
• Paid DBS
• Uniform provided
• Free onsite parking
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on full-time)
*Experience with group activities for older people is essential, and any background in event planning, music, or art therapy would be a real bonus.
We’re now looking for an Activities Coordinator who lives and breathes creativity, someone who can bring colour, laughter and variety to everyday life and understands that wellbeing isn’t just about physical health, but emotional connection, confidence and purpose too.
What you’ll be doing:
In this role, you’ll become the heart of our home's daily life. Whether you’re organising a music session that sparks a memory, creating a themed afternoon tea party, or simply chatting with someone about their favourite hobbies, you’ll be helping residents feel engaged, valued, and seen.
You’ll design and deliver a monthly activities programme that suits all abilities from quiet one-to-one moments to vibrant group sessions always taking time to understand what brings joy to each individual.
Because our residents live with a range of needs, including dementia and challenging behaviours, you’ll work closely with our care team to ensure everything is safe, inclusive, and deeply person-centred.
What we’re looking for:
We’re not necessarily looking for someone with a background in care, but we are looking for someone who naturally connects with others. Someone who’s organised, creative, confident, and knows how to fill a room with warmth and energy.
Perhaps you’ve run community events, delivered group sessions, or have experience in music or art therapy whatever your background, if you can inspire laughter, build relationships and make every day count, we’d love to hear from you.
Why join Cherrybrook:
Our care home is part of the Care Concern Group a leading, family-run care provider with over 100 homes across the UK. We’re proud to offer more than just a job. Here, you’ll find a supportive team, real autonomy, and the chance to brighten the lives of people who will never forget you for it. We believe in delivering care to the highest standard, and our five core values guide everything we do:
Trust | Respect | Passion | Kindness | Inclusivity
These values define who we are and underpin everything we do, from the smallest interaction to the most complex care. If you live by these principles, this is a place where you can belong and truly make a difference.

Ready to make someone’s day, every day? Apply now and bring your sparkle to Cherrybrook.
