Alderbrook Care Home is a modern, purpose built care home located in Leeds, providing specialist Complex Care for up to 140 residents. The home supports individuals with complex physical and mental health needs within a safe, structured and supportive environment focused on dignity, wellbeing and person centred care.
Registered Mental Health Nurse – Nightshift
- £22.88 per hour
- 42 hours per week
- Nightshift: 20:00 – 08:15
- Paid breaks, pension, free uniform, Paid DBS
- 5.6 weeks annual leave based on a full time contract
Role Overview
As a Registered Mental Health Nurse, you will take clinical responsibility during night shifts, ensuring safe, consistent and person centred care is delivered within a specialist complex care environment.
You will use your clinical judgement to assess residents, manage care plans, administer medication and respond to changes in mental and physical health, making informed decisions that support safety and wellbeing.
Leading the shift, you will guide and support the care team, ensuring care is delivered effectively, standards are maintained and communication remains clear and professional throughout the night.
Your presence will help create a calm, structured and reassuring environment, providing stability for residents with complex needs while ensuring care is delivered with dignity, respect and consistency.
What We Are Looking For
- Registered Mental Health Nurse with an active NMC PIN
- Strong clinical knowledge and confident decision making
- Ability to lead and support colleagues during night shifts
- Good communication and teamwork skills
