Mossview Care Home is a modern residence located in the heart of Lochgelly, Fife, providing high quality Residential and Dementia care for up to 42 residents. The home offers a supportive and welcoming environment where residents receive person centred care and feel truly at home.
Registered Nurse – Bank
- £20.50 per hour
- Bank, zero hours contract
- Paid PVG, pension, uniform provided
- Onsite parking
- 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)
Role Overview
As a Registered Nurse, this role plays a central part in delivering high quality, person centred care within a supportive care home environment. The position combines clinical responsibility with leadership, ensuring residents receive safe, effective and compassionate care at all times.
Working closely with residents, families and healthcare professionals, the role supports the development and delivery of personalised care plans that reflect individual needs. Clinical oversight is maintained through accurate documentation, regular observations and responsive care.
The role includes leading shifts, supporting team members and ensuring effective communication through clear handovers and daily coordination. Medication is administered safely in line with protocols, with a strong focus on dignity, wellbeing and promoting independence. This bank role offers flexibility across both day and night shifts, supporting the home as required.
What We Are Looking For
- Registered General Nurse RGN or Registered Mental Health Nurse RMN with an active NMC PIN
- Previous care home experience is beneficial but not essential
- A calm, compassionate and person centred approach
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- A professional and reliable attitude
