Maples Care Home is a purpose-built nursing home in Bexleyheath, set over three floors and designed to combine modern facilities with a warm, homely atmosphere. The home offers 75 spacious ensuite bedrooms where residents are encouraged to personalise their space, creating a comfortable and supportive environment.

Role: Domestic Assistant
Location: 29 Glynde Road, Bexleyheath, DA7 4EU
Salary: £12.65ph
Hours: 28 hours per week, working on a rota that will include weekends and public holidays

As part of our friendly housekeeping team, you’ll ensure all laundry duties are completed efficiently and to a high standard. From washing and drying to ironing and returning items, your attention to detail will help maintain comfort and hygiene for our residents every day.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Collecting, sorting, and washing residents’ personal clothing, bed linen, and towels
  • Drying, ironing, folding, and returning items promptly and correctly
  • Maintaining laundry rooms and equipment in a clean, safe, and organised condition
  • Following infection control and hygiene procedures carefully and consistently
  • Handling residents’ belongings with care and respect
  • Reporting any damaged or missing items or maintenance issues promptly
  • Supporting the wider housekeeping team as needed to maintain high standards across the home
