Receptionist

Administration and Business Support - Oakdene Care Home

Contract: Part Time

Salary: £12.50 Per Hour

Shift Type: Days

Contracted hours: 26.25

Our award-winning care home in Three Legged Cross provides exceptional Residential, Dementia and Respite care for up to 71 residents. Purpose built to offer both comfort and quality, our home is a place where residents feel truly cared for and where every member of the team plays a vital part in daily life.

We are now looking for a friendly, organised and approachable Receptionist to join our team. If you take pride in excellent customer service and enjoy helping others, this is a rewarding opportunity to be the welcoming face of our care home.

What we offer:

  • £12.50 per hour
  • Contracted to 26.25 hours per week, including alternate weekends
  • Paid DBS, pension scheme, free uniform and onsite parking
  • 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)
  • A supportive, values-led working environment where your contribution is appreciated

Your role:
As Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for residents, families, visitors and colleagues, helping to create a calm and professional atmosphere from the moment people arrive. You will handle incoming calls, welcome guests, manage post and keep records updated, while assisting with a variety of light administrative duties to help the home run smoothly.

Your strong organisational skills and approachable nature will help ensure every visitor and colleague feels supported and welcome. From maintaining accurate information to offering a warm smile at reception, your role is key to the smooth running of the home.

What we are looking for:
We are looking for someone with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, good attention to detail and a calm, organised approach to work. Previous experience in a similar front-of-house or administrative role is helpful, but not essential — we welcome individuals who are friendly, reliable and enjoy being part of a close-knit team.

About us:
Our care home is part of Care Concern Group, a market leading, family-owned care provider with over 100 homes across the United Kingdom. We are passionate about delivering outstanding care for our residents and creating rewarding workplaces for our teams.

Our values – Trust, Respect, Passion, Kindness, Inclusivity – guide everything we do. If these values matter to you too, and you are ready to bring professionalism and warmth to a role where you will be valued, we would love to hear from you.
