What the Role Involves
You will support the Home Manager in overseeing all clinical aspects of the home, with a clear focus on delivering and maintaining exceptional standards of complex care. You will lead, mentor, and guide nursing and care staff, ensure robust care planning and clinical governance, and maintain compliance with all relevant standards and regulations.

This is a visible leadership position. You will spend time on the floor, offering hands on guidance and support to your team, maintaining strong communication with residents and families, and providing a consistent and professional presence. When the Home Manager is absent, you will be confident in taking full responsibility for the home.

What We Are Looking For

  • A Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) with an active NMC PIN
  • Experience supporting adults with complex care needs, including physical, neurological, or mental health conditions
  • Previous experience in a Deputy Manager or senior clinical leadership role within a care home or similar setting
  • Strong clinical knowledge and confident leadership skills
  • A compassionate, resident-focused approach and the ability to support and inspire others
