The Langham, London; Europe’s first Grand Hotel and Forbes 5* rated property, is currently recruiting for a Conference & Events Floor Manager to join our talented Conference & Events team. We are looking for a true hospitality professional, with the flair to deliver service at the highest level.

In the role of Conference & Events Floor Manager, your key focus will be to:

  • To supervise each Conference and Banqueting event in accordance to the guest’s wishes as specified on the function sheet or other method of communication
  • To supervise all full time, casual and agency colleagues during each event and to ensure they adhere to service, grooming and Health and Safety standards.
  • To ensure that function rooms are set up and ready one hour before the event and in accordance with The Langham, London’s standards as set out in the C&B S.O.P. manual.
  • To help plan ahead the following week’s events to ensure there is enough operating equipment available.

Do you have? -

  • previous experience in a similar 5* environment
  • strong interest in food and beverage
  • flair, passion and a conscientious attitude
  • confidence, professionalism and engaging personality
  • ability to think outside of the box to surprise and delight our guests
  • excellent attention to detail
  • clear conversational English language, knowledge of foreign languages is beneficial
