ABOUT THE ROLE

In the role of Reservations Agent, your key focus will be to:

  • answer all incoming Reservation enquiries, to the agreed departmental standard, and wherever possible to convert them to bookings
  • input reservations into the Shiji system, ensuring all details are accurate and complete in line with the agreed departmental standard.
  • ensure all system traces are actioned on a daily basis
  • ensure all 'no-shows' from the previous night are followed up and charged accordingly
  • perform general office duties such as photocopying, scanning, filing as and when required

ABOUT YOU

  • excellent customer service skills and ability to build the rapport with guests
  • ability to produce work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • strong organisational and administrative skills
  • strong computer skills; all Microsoft Office packages and working knowledge of Shiji system is desirable.
