What We Offer

Competitive Pay: £14 - £16 per hour including service charge (based on the last 3-month average).

Working Hours: Full-time, 40-48 hours per week.

Job Description

As a Food Runner at Din Tai Fung UK, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service and creating and unforgettable dining experience for our guests. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Deliver food promptly from the kitchen to our guests, ensuring every dish is served at the right temperature and presented beautifully, maintaining our high standards.

• Support the Front of House team, to ensure that the dining experience is seamless and efficient, acting as a crucial link between the kitchen and the guests.

• Maintain a clean and organised dining area, assisting with resetting tables and other duties, ensuring the restaurant is always ready for the next guest.

Who You Are

We’re looking for a Food Runner who thrives in a busy, dynamic environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service. Ideally, you will have:

• Previous experience in a restaurant runner or waiter/waitress assistant role in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment, although we are happy to train enthusiastic newcomers.

• A friendly and outgoing personality with excellent communication skills and a passion for providing outstanding guest experiences.

• The ability to stay calm, composed, and adaptable under pressure, while maintaining efficient service and ensuring smooth operations in a busy and high-energy setting.

• A keen interest in building a career in hospitality, with a strong passion for learning and developing your skills.

• Flexible availability to work full time, including weekends, evenings, and holidays, with shifts that may run as late 11:30PM.
