Conference and Banqueting Supervisor / Events Supervisor

As a Conference & Events Supervisor at The Grand Hotel Birmingham, you’ll lead from the front, making sure every detail runs smoothly and every guest leaves impressed. From conferences and banquets to private dinners, you’ll be the point of contact for organisers and the motivator for the team on the floor.
What the job involves
• Leading and motivating the Conference & Events operations team, setting the pace with confidence and positivity
• Making sure event spaces are set up correctly and ready on time
• Acting as the main point of contact for organisers before, during and after events
• Checking in with organisers at the end of events to gather feedback and improve service
• Training and supporting the team so they deliver consistent, friendly and efficient service
• Jumping in to cover any role in the department when needed to keep things moving
What you’ll bring
• Experience in a supervisory role within a conference and events environment
• A natural people person who can quickly build rapport and motivate a team
• Organised, detail-driven and calm under pressure
