The Role:
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Reservationist to join the team. You are often the first person our guests speak to on the phone so it will be your responsibility to set the tone and make a great first impression. You’ll exceed their expectations, providing them with an excellent guest experience right from the start. You’ll usually be found in the Front Office taking calls or responding to booking queries of guests or clients. You’ll need to be IT savvy and be comfortable in an office environment. Much of your role will be autonomous so you’ll be confident working alone, but you will still need to be able to work as part of a team, supporting the rest of the Front of House team when needed. As the reservationist you'll be contributing to the success of the hotel through securing groups and meetings, arranging contracts and handling enquiry payments. In a customer focused role you’ll have a passion for customer service and ensuring you offer the best possible deals and packages for our guests.
The Ideal Candidate:
We’re looking for an experienced Reservationist who has a passion for exceeding gust expectations. You’ll be confident and competent using IT systems such as Microsoft Office, OnQ, Delphi etc. You will need to demonstrate exceptional communication skills, both face -to -face and via phone/email, ensuring all queries are dealt with in a prompt, friendly and professional manner. It’s important that you have an outgoing personality, a flexible approach to working and a strong attention to detail.
