We are CH&CO, we’re proud to take a more thoughtful, mindful approach to the food experiences we source, prepare and present. We are recruiting for a kitchen porter to work at Sylvia Young Theatre School.
Key responsibilities
• To complete duties in the kitchen and service areas as directed that are necessary to ensure an efficient, hygienic service is provided.
• To assist with food preparation as required
• To transport all deliverys from the delivery area to kitchen storerooms and to kitchen preparation areas as required
• Responsible for the cleaning of kitchen floors, walls, waste bins, hot plates, kitchen equipment, delivery areas, storerooms, and all other areas as necessary
• To clean, wash, dry and polish all kitchen equipment and service items by hand or machine in an efficient manner
• Operate all necessary sterilising equipment
• Responsible for the correct disposal and any recycling of all rubbish
