Assistant Front of House Manager
Are you ready to take the lead in delivering exceptional guest experiences as an Assistant Front of House Manager?
As the Assistant Front of House Manager your mission is to lead and coordinate the Reception and Public Areas teams in delivering a seamless and professional front-of-house experience for all visitors, while ensuring that event spaces and public areas are consistently clean, presentable and ready for use. You will support the overall guest journey, contributing to the success of events and upholding the venue's reputation for excellence in service and presentation.
You will also support the Conference & Events Manager with a variety of tasks and training activities which will in turn develop your management skills and experience to ensure the smooth running of the Public Areas and Reception teams. In this role you’ll continually learn and develop, have access to industry leading training and have the opportunity to develop your career with De Vere!
This is a full-time role that involves working a mixture of shifts to include earlies from 7:00am-3:30pm, lates from 2:30pm-11:00pm and middle shifts from 9am – 5.30pm – to include weekends on occasion.
Your Skills and Experience:
- Previous supervisory or management experience in facilities, housekeeping and/or reception, ideally in a hospitality setting
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills with a hands-on proactive approach and the ability to delegate effectively and have excellent communication, organistation and time management skills.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members, encouraging them to put their heart and soul into creating memorable moments for our guests
- Knowledgeable on Health & Safety, COSHH and manual handling regualtions
- Previous experience with Opera Cloud and Fourth Hospitality would be beneficial
- Most of all, you will share our values such as being graciously warm, demonstrating a genuine approach, anticipating guest needs and ensuring every detail is considered
