Our Edinburgh office is situated in the heart of the bustling city centre, with panoramic views of the castle, gardens and Princes Street below. The office is always alive with activity as it houses a 65-strong team consisting of mechanical, electrical, civil, structural and support teams. The office’s open plan kitchen and staff break out area often plays host to our team’s socialising time, whether it’s over a morning coffee, lunch or after work unwind.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist the engineering team with day-to-day tasks
• Contribute to the development of Civil and Structural design proposals
• Support the detailed design process and production of drawing information for C&S department
• Assist in the smooth operation of the design office
• Gain hands-on experience and actively engage in learning new skills
• Work alongside the wider team to broaden your knowledge in all aspects of building design.
• Receive on-the-job training and mentorship from experienced professionals
What You Will Learn:
• Industry-specific software (AutoCAD, Revit, Robot, TSD and TEDDs)
• Knowledge sharing with experienced professionals
• Best practices for Health and Safety in engineering environments
• Key communication and soft skills essential for career development
• The potential for further study through day-release College/University programs with opportunities to progress to HNC, HND and/or a Graduate Apprentiship (BEng).
