BIM Co-ordinator

Harley Haddow has recently established a new office in Scotland and is excited to strengthen its presence in the North. Centrally located in Inverness, with excellent connectivity to transportation networks, you'll be joining a dynamic and expanding team poised for future growth.

Due to rapid growth, we are now recruiting for a BIM Co-ordinator, responsible for preparation of mechanical and electrical drawings from designs undertaken by the MEP Engineers.

As BIM Co-ordinator you will be involved in the preparation of models and drawings from hand drawings, sketches or from part layouts prepared by others. You will take responsibility for the management, archiving and filing of all drawings plus the incoming drawing information obtained from other design team members.

Other Key responsibilities include

• Liaising with the BIM Manager to appreciate forthcoming workload and programme priorities
• Preparing MEP layouts for issue to external parties
• Using Revit to produce models for BIM projects
• Filing and archiving drawings
• Attending BIM meetings as lead modeller on projects
• Managing the digital storage and reproduction of incoming and design drawings issued for projects.
• Adhering to BIM/CAD standard and layering convention on all drawings.
• Producing MEP design drawings designed by the MEP engineers for issue to external parties to meet agreed programmes and deadlines.
• Attending project BIM coordination meetings where required
• Ensuring that the quality and presentation of models and drawings is maintained and improved.

About You

• HND/HNC qualified in BIM/CAD draughting or similar qualification
• 3-4 years project experience delivering a full MEP BIM/CAD service
• Good software skills with expertise in Revit
• Demonstrable project management, delivery and quality.
